Migrate Outlook PST Files to Microsoft® Entourage 2004/2008

For successful results, please read and apply the following steps:

1.  As a first step in using the PST Converter Pro, you will need to add the PST files in question as stated in  “Selecting PST files to convert”
2. To customize your selection accordingly, you are asked to use the necessary options as stated in “Working with Conversion Options”.
3. You need to migrate all of your mails, contacts or social calendars with the PST Converter Pro, so see to it that everything is “checked”. After you are certain that everything is in perfect order, you need to select the “Convert To” button and also to select “Microsoft Entourage Archive” as your format.
4. Now that everything is set within the PST Converter Pro, feel free to press the “Start” button. After a few seconds, a “save as” window will appear requesting a location for the files. You may name it: “My Outlook to MSE Archive” or something similar.
5. Now the PST Converter Pro will start the conversion, offering you a view of the process itself.
6. After the PST Converter Pro has successfully completed the conversion process, a completion report will appear, offering you a detailed perspective on the conversion itself. You are able to locate this report on your Desktop under the name of “PST Conversion Report ##.txt”. The “##” stands for the specific time and date when the PST Converter Pro performed the actual conversion.

   Also, you are able to locate your converted files of the Microsoft Entourage Archive in the output folder.

7. Now that the PST Converter Pro has completed its job, you need to launch Microsoft Entourage on your Mac computer. Access the Application Menu, then File and the Import.
8. After completing the above, you need to select the option called: “Import information from an Entourage Archive”, which is located in the Import dialog.
9. Now you need to browse the location where you have previously saved the converted file. After selecting it, you need to simply click the “Import” button.
10. Now the importing process has begun. Please note that files larger than 600 MB, might take longer to import due to size, but nevertheless Microsoft Entourage will do it as quickly as possible!
11. The import process is now complete! You are now able to check out the final results. If you wish, you may also be able to organize or reorganize your folders hierarchy as you see fit, by either dragging or dropping them with Microsoft Entourage.
12. All converter files by the PST Converter Pro will be added to Address Book, in Microsoft Entourage.
13. Also, remember that all of your calendar events will also be imported to Microsoft Entourage. When opening them, you will see a note at the end of each calendar description. It basically refers to descriptions of rich text formats and its attachments, which the PST Converter Pro has faithfully preserved. This type of info is saved in a folder under the name   “Calendar_References”.
